What are Lidwoorden?
In Dutch, there are words called lidwoorden, or articles. They help us know more about nouns. There are three main articles in Dutch: de, het, and een.
Types of Lidwoorden
- De: This is the definite article used for common gender nouns.
- Het: This is the definite article used for neuter gender nouns.
- Een: This is the indefinite article used for both common and neuter nouns.
When to Use Each Article
